INFORMATION FOR FAMILIES

    In Home Care aims to provide a high quality, flexible, early childhood education and care to families for whom other approved childcare options are not appropriate. 

    Fees

    The fee for care is calculated on an hourly rate per family (not per child). Additional cost (transport, travel, activities) are to be negotiated between the family and educator and is not subject to Government Subsidy. Families can use IHC 24 hours a day, 7 days a week depending on their requirements and the IHC Support Agency approval. Click here for more information about Child Care Subsidy eligibility.     Enrolment

    Peachie Kids enrolment is completed online, you will be asked to provide the following information. Once all details are completed and submitted, Peachie Kids Management Team will begin processing your application.



    CRN Reference Numbers, 
    Immunisation Records



    Details of any allergies and risk management plan

    Name and address of child's doctor and emergency contacts

    Independent Contract Educators

    Our Educators come from a wide range of diverse backgrounds, all educators are required to comply with and work in accordance to the National Standards. They are required to have as a minimum:

     

    • Completed or enrolled to complete Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care

    • Be at least 18 years of age

    • Current First Aid qualifications, including annual CPR, Asthmas, Anaphylaxis training

    • Relevant state and territory Working with Children Checks

    • National Police Check

    • Public Liability Insurance 

    • ABN Number

    • PRODA Number

    • Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood practices and duty of care

    Our Educators are independent contractors. Educators are responsible for their own tax payments and legal obligations. They are not entitled to holiday or sick pay.
